Comprising two distinct yet harmonious buildings, the proposal unfolds as a unified entity that conscientiously respects the scale, context, and materials of the adjacent area. The objective was to deliver a structure that maximised the plot's potential while adhering to the stringent design guidelines set forth by the London Borough of Croydon.
The approved scheme spans five floors, incorporating a basement to eliminate the need for street-level car parking. The accommodation is distributed over four upper floors, with a particular highlight being the creation of a large duplex penthouse apartment on the corner site, offering panoramic views across a lush valley.
