This visionary undertaking unfolds as a conceptual masterplan project situated in East London, aimed at establishing a seamless connection between the iconic London 2012 Olympic Park in Stratford and the majestic River Thames. Anchored in a meticulous understanding of existing routes, the concept delves into the historical tapestry of London's Dockside, specifically adjacent to [Michael] Faraday's Lighthouse.

At the heart of our proposal lies the creation of an extraordinary event space embodied in the form of a substantial corten steel cube gracefully positioned within the waters of the River Thames. This monumental structure serves as a pivotal element, establishing a compelling relationship with the Millenium Dome situated across the river. Acting as a sibling to this prominent London landmark, the cube emerges as an iconic architectural gesture, both monumental and harmoniously integrated into the urban fabric.

The design narrative draws inspiration from the local context, seamlessly incorporating materials such as corten steel, reminiscent of the hints of dilapidated riverside metal, and concrete, symbolising the rugged resilience of the urban landscape. The juxtaposition of these materials not only serves as a visual dialogue but also narrates the unfolding journey—from the grand urban scale to the meticulous detailing of the built environment.
